Foreign Ministry: Ten Ukrainians injured in car accident stay in Thai hospitals

Ten Ukrainian tourists injured in a bus accident in Thailand in the province of Kanchanaburi are being treated in Thai hospitals, Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry has reported.

The ministry reminded that on November 23 a tourist bus crashed in Thailand, in the result of which 20 Ukrainian tourists received injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized.

“Today ten Ukrainians are being treated as in-patients in Bangkok at two medical establishments, and the rest are at local hospitals,” Foreign Ministry’s Spokesman Oleksandr Dykusarov said during the briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.

He said the case is being monitored by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and Ukrainian diplomats in Thailand.

There are no serious threats to the lives of the Ukrainians, the ministry reported.
