Flu kills 60 people in Ukraine — health ministry
KYIV, January 21. /TASS/. The death toll from the flu outbreak in Ukraine has reached 60, a Health Ministry official said on Thursday.
“As many as 60 flu-related deaths have been registered in Ukraine,” Irina Kolesnikova said, adding that 20 lethal cases were registered in the country’s southern Odessa region.
Earlier on Thursday, Kyiv prolonged quarantine in schools and kindergartens over the flu and acute respiratory infection outbreak till January 27.
