Everton linked with Yarmolenko again

The man that manager Roberto Martinez wanted the most for his club this summer, Andriy Yarmolenko, appears to be back in the rumour pool linking him with a January move to Everton.

Yarmolenko was reportedly on the verge of making the move from his native Ukraine to join the Toffees, but Dynamo Kyiv’s upper echelon decided that the paperwork had been submitted too late for the club to find a replacement.

So he remained with them.

But tweets have been circulated furiously in recent days with a picture of Vadim Shabily posing for a picture at Goodison Park

Shabily is Yarmolenko’s agent and fans are now intrigued to know what he was doing at Goodison Park, prompting fresh hope that the Ukrainian forward could be heading to the club in a January deal.

Shabily uploaded the picture a few days ago, but the tagline showed that it was uploaded in Kyiv (Kyiv), in the Ukraine.

Fans wonder why the photo was uploaded from the Ukraine when Shabily was reported at Goodison Park just moments prior to the photo being taken.

Perhaps he set his Facebook account up in such a way that it always says Kyiv, maybe to prevent fans and media from following his movements across countries in hopes of securing deals for the players under his care?

Whatever the reason, the tweet has intrigued fans and there is a renewed belief that Everton are the frontrunners for Yarmolenko’s signature.

This is, of course, despite Barcelona also being linked with the Ukraine international.

With Shabily being seen at Everton most recently, fans will hope that Yarmolenko chooses the opportunity for regular first team football and the lure of the Premier League over the glitz and glamour of playing alongside players such as Messi, Neymar and Suarez.

One thing is for sure, Everton are still seemingly in the mix for his signature and, considering how close they were to signing him in the summer, the club look to be sorting out January busy as early as possible in hopes of not losing out on a player that could have an immediate impact on the club.
