Howard is ready to play his part in securing survival this time around after a terrible run of just one win for Everton in their last 12 league games.
And the American keeper insists there have been no arguments or squabbling among players and all the staff are on the same page.
He said: “It’s easy to judge from the outside but there have been no rifts.
“Nobody has been slacking off. Things haven’t been great for us this season but that’s not for the lack of trying. Against all the odds, we have stuck together.
