Everton FC to make £20million bid for Andriy Yarmolenko
Now according to reports, it has been claimed that Premier League side Everton are plotting a move for the Ukrainian global.
The player hinted after Kyiv’s final group game that he could leave in the January transfer window if the right offer was received but manager Sergei Rebrov has indicated that he very much wants Yarmolenko to stay for the rest of the Champions League run.
As it turned out though, Yarmolenko went on to sign an extension with Dynamo Kyiv and crushed the hopes of many interested clubs.
The 26-year-old, who has 55 worldwide caps for his country, has scored an outstanding 13 goals in just 22 appearances in all competitions for the Premier Liga outfit so far this season.
With Dynamo in the last 16 of the Champions League they’re reluctant to sell, and have proven hard to negotiate with.
The Ukraine global has a pass accuracy of 79% and a shot accuracy of 67%, and has won 10 dribbles and six tackles.
It is believed that the Toffees had tried to broker a deal to sign the 26-year-old during the summer, but no agreement could be reached with their Ukrainian counterparts.
