EUR 250 mln from EU under State-Building Contract to arrive to Ukraine by late May

This is what Andrew Rasbash, Head of Cooperation of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, said at a briefing in Kyiv on May 21.
Rasbash said that in this way the European Union was supporting the Ukrainian government in its desires to fight corruption and work on the improvement of the state administration. He said that the funds would be sent to the national budget. He also said that the second disbursement of up to EUR 105 million would be provided only after the results of the implementation of some conditions in the area of fighting corruption and state administration improvement. He said that eight requirements were defined, and the half of them refers to anticorruption reforms.
