EU ready to sign free trade zone agreement with Ukraine
The EU is ready to provide Ukraine with foreign political and financial assistance, to sign a free trade zone agreement and to complete talks on visa-free travel, Faerm said at a news conference in Kyiv on Monday, Interfax reports.

A visa-free travel regime for Ukrainian citizens may be put into place before the end of this year, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Jan Tombinski said, according to Interfax reports.
He told reporters in Kyiv on Sunday the European Commission would converge on June 2 to decide whether Ukraine had accomplished the first stage of the visa regime liberalization action plan and whether it was prepared to proceed to the second stage.
Once the second stage is over, a visa-free travel regime may be introduced within several months, as it was in the case of Moldova, Tombinski answered the question if Ukraine could be granted a visa-free travel regime before the end of this year.
