Dynamo Kyiv snare Vorskla pair

FC Dynamo Kyiv have continued to bolster their ranks by signing FC Vorskla Poltava pair Yevhen Selin and Roman Bezus.

Defender Selin, 24, played 74 league games for Vorskla over three seasons following a move from FC Metalist Kharkiv while his 14 caps for Ukraine include every minute of their UEFA EURO 2012 finals campaign.

The 22-year-old Bezus has three caps and was voted the breakthrough player of the Ukrainian Premier League last season. Equally adept in midfield or as a forward, Bezus scored 20 league goals in 91 matches at Vorskla.

Both players made their debuts for Ukraine under current Dynamo coach Oleh Blokhin, who started his winter recruitment yesterday with the signing of Domagoj Vida from GNK Dinamo Zagreb.

The Bilo-Syni will face FC Girondins de Bordeaux in the UEFA Europa League round of 32 with the first leg in Kyiv to be played on 14 February.
