Dynamo Kyiv ready to negotiate with Everton FC for Andriy Yarmolenko
Everton have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Andriy Yarmolenko after Dynamo Kyiv revealed they are prepared to enter into negotiations for the playmaker.
Roberto Martinez continues to covet the 26-year-old and hopes of a deal were revived last week after his agent reportedly returned to Goodison Park for the Blues’ Capital One Cup semi-final first leg win over Manchester City.
Dynamo rebuffed Everton’s attempts to sign Yarmolenko in the summer, but president Ihor Surkis has since revealed that the Ukrainian club have received offers for their prize asset and admitted that they may now be willing to do business.
“Yarmolenko knows that if the proposal matches his ambitions, we will be ready to negotiate,” he told Segodnya.
“We’ve certainly received offers for Yarmolenko, if not for now, then for the summer. There is still the Champions League and the European Championships afterwards.
“If you were to ask me when I thought was best for Andriy to go to a Western league, I would have to say the summer.”
