Duda to discuss Donbas, intensification of bilateral contacts in Ukraine
The situation in Donbas and intensification of the bilateral contacts at the highest level will be the main topics of the talks between the presidents of Ukraine and Poland on December 14-15 in Kyiv.
Spokesman for the President of Poland Marek Magierowski said this in a commentary to an Ukrinform correspondent in Warsaw.
“These talks will mainly focus on the situation in eastern Ukraine. Mr. President has expressed concern about the fact that the military operations of varying intensity are still ongoing. It clearly shows that the Minsk Agreements are not implemented in full,” Magierowski said.
The spokesman stressed that the position of the President of Poland Andrzej Duda on sanctions against Russia remained unambiguous. “The sanctions must be upheld since Moscow and pro-Russian separatists do not comply with the Minsk Agreements,” the representative of the President of Poland stated.
Magierowski also added that Duda would suggest intensifying bilateral contacts at the level of the President’s administrations of both countries.
