Dozens of truce violations documented on November 22 in east Ukraine
UPDATE: Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed and another two were wounded in the east Ukraine conflict zone over the past 24 hours, presidential military spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv, on Monday, November 23, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
Ukrainian military spokesman say Russian-backed militants violated the ceasefire agreement 59 times on November 22, shelling Ukrainian positions all day on November 22, focusing fire on the Donetsk sector.
“As was the case before, the terrorists focused fire on the Donetsk sector today. They used grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms to shell the towns of Avdiyivka and Maryinka and the villages of Pisky [near the ruined Donetsk airport] and Opytne. An 82mm-caliber mortar was once used to shell the village of Luhanske in the Artemivsk sector,” the military’s press service said in a Facebook report.

Russian proxies used the guns of infantry combat vehicles, heavy guns and small arms to directly shell Ukrainian positions near the village of Opytne in Donetsk region and 82mm-caliber mortars to shell the village of Sukhodil in Luhansk region, the press center said.

Kremlin-led militants on Saturday also violated the ceasefire near the town of Schastya in Luhansk region, presidential administration spokesperson for ATO issues Oleksandr Motuzianyk said at a briefing in Kyiv on Sunday, November 22.
