Donetsk Republic Defense Ministry Accuses Kyiv of Using Phosphorus Shells
“The day before at 11:50 am Moscow time phosphorus bombs were fired at the positions of DPR fighters in the airport (of Donetsk) from the village of Peski,” the ministry said, Itar-Tass reported.
Over the past 24 hours militias’ positions have come under artillery and tank fire at least 13 times, the ministry said giving no reports on casualties.
The use of white phosphorus shells are banned by several international conventions.
