Donbas terrorists to OSCE: we won’t let Kyiv control border
Donbas terrorists have no intentions to let Ukraine control the border with Russia, the terrorists said in their statements to Russia and OSCE, RIA Novosti reports Oct. 30.
“Ukraine demands control over the border with Russia which we control at present. We can agree only to the international monitoring of these stretches of the border,” the statement runs.
The OSCE monitoring can be allowed if the conflict is settled politically and economic and social ties with Ukraine restored. All this has to be confirmed by Russia and EU. It will ensure safety of the population and political institutions in Donbas, the terrorists insist.
Under the Minsk agreements of Sept. 5 signed by Russia and both breakaway republics Ukraine is to assume control of the border, with Russia pulling out its troops from Donbas.
