Defense ministers of five countries sign joint statement in Kyiv

The defense ministers of Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland signed the joint statement on cooperation in Kyiv.

This is reported by the press service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.

“The meeting participants testified the readiness of the defense ministries to continue cooperation in accordance with the reached agreements and signed the joint statement on the development of cooperation in the defense field. This document defines the directions of further cooperation between the defense ministries of the five countries,” reads the statement.

The defense ministers stressed the firm position on securing the territorial integrity of Ukraine, noting that the issues of countering Russian aggression in Ukraine remain on the international agenda.

The joint statement also declared their readiness to further deepen defense cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, particularly, to participate in the joint training of the troops in the military-medical field and cooperate in military-technical field.
