Croatia to Treat Ukraine’s Wounded National Guards
Kyiv and Zagreb came to an agreement Saturday that Ukrainian National Guards, injured in the east of the country, would be treated in Croatia, the Ukrainian Embassy said in a statement, RIA Novosti reports.
“According to the Croatian side’s proposal and as a result of series meetings of the Ukraine’s Ambassador Oleksandr Levchenko at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia, the agreement was reached that Croatia will provide treatment and rehabilitation to the soldiers of Ukraine’s National Guard, who were injured in a special military operation in the east of the country,” the statement said.
The sides have agreed that Croatia will provide full medical and psychological support to the Ukrainian soldiers, who participated or were injured in a special military operation with Croatian side covering all the transportation and rehabilitation expenses.
