Coordinated search continues for missing Yakima doctor in Kyiv

The search continues to center on a park in downtown Kyiv where a retired Yakima doctor went missing earlier this week while on a trip to the Ukraine to help his church.
Surveillance cameras recorded Dr. Jay Sloop entering the park Tuesday morning, however, was not seen leaving the park.
One of Sloop’s friends, who is involved in the search, describes the park as a flat-top hill with very steep sides covered in trees, brush and some patches of long, untrimmed grass.
More than 40 people, including volunteers, military police and a Marine detail from the U.S. Embassy are assisting the search.
