KYIV, January 21. /TASS/. Ukraine’s Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has published an updated list of commodities of Russian manufacture, the imports of which to Ukraine are banned. It includes confectioneries, fish, caviare, ketchup, and some other foodstuffs.

It had the world’s largest natural gas reserves and Moscow was about to chair the G8 group of big countries for six months, taking “energy security” as its theme. Gazprom seemed ideally placed to present itself as the reliable alternative to unstable Middle East suppliers.
KYIV, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) — Ukraine broadened its ban on Russian-made goods on Wednesday in the latest round of trade row with Moscow, which ignited after Kyiv entered a landmark free trade agreement with the European Union (EU).
More than 70 kinds of goods produced in Russia were added to the existing embargo list that covered 43 items, the Ukrainian government said in a statement.
Commenting on the expansion of the import ban, Ukrainian Deputy Trade Minister Natalia Mykolska said it will primarily apply to food products, in particular, vegetables, confectionery, different kinds of sauces and some types of fish.
LONDON (Sputnik) — The UK statement comes ahead of the annual UK-Poland Quadriga at Edinburgh Castle later in the day, where Hammond and UK Defense Secretary Michael Fallon will host their Polish counterparts Witold Waszczykowski and Antoni Macierewicz.
