Kyiv. Ministers of foreign affairs of Bulgaria and Ukraine, for first time jointly visited the Bulgarians in Odessa and Bolhrad.
Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov announced the news before journalists in Kyiv, the special messenger of FOCUS News Agency to Ukraine announced.
“That is a sign not just of the Bulgaria’s commitment to our compatriots in Ukraine, but also commitment of Ukraine, which in these hard moments needs support and we as EU member state and friendly country to Ukraine will do everything possible, so that Ukraine to walk the path to European membership as fast as possible,” Minister Mitov said.
The Minister specified, however, that Ukraine must give clear signals to show her commitment to the Bulgarian minority there.
