A group of British financial experts has started its work in Ukraine, where it will assist the Ukrainian government to recover misappropriated assets, UK Ambassador to Ukraine Simon Smith has said.
They came on Thursday evening and immediately started to work, the ambassador said at a press conference in Kyiv on Saturday.
It will work together with the Ukrainian authorities and will provide expert advice on what to do, he added.
At the same time, Smith could not predict how long the group of financial experts will work in Ukraine.
