The minister said that today 1,500 enterprises give over 80% of budget revenues in Ukraine.
Kyiv, May 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Pensions and payments as a part of social initiatives proposed by Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will be increased thanks to economic growth, and first of all, growth of big companies, Vice Premier and Social Policy Minister Sergiy Tigipko has said.
“We arrived when a serious economic downturn was seen in the country. We managed to have 4.5% growth in 2010 and 5.2% in 2011, and now we expect the same increase or maybe slightly smaller in economic growth, and today this gives us a chance to see additional revenues of the budget,” he said in an interview with the Fifth TV Channel on May 4, 2012.
The minister said that today 1,500 enterprises give over 80% of budget revenues in Ukraine.
“if we speak about the replenishment of the budget, these are mainly big enterprises, so they will first pay more,” Tigipko said.
He pointed out that the government every year tries to reduce tax burden on small and large businesses.
