Besiktas and Fiorentina Lead Artem Milevskiy Race

Ukrainian striker Artem Milevskiy is set to exit Dynamo Kyiv in January, with clubs from England and Russia, in addition to Besiktas and Fiorentina, interested in the 27-year-old.

Milevskiy is available for transfer and is expected to be on the move when the winter window opens in just over a month’s time, although he is cool on England and Russia as potential destinations, his representative has claimed.

“Milevskiy has been put on the transfer list by Dynamo Kyiv and there are offers from Russia and England, but the player wants to go to a different league”, the striker’s agent Malik Arkinov was quoted as saying by Russian daily Sport Express.

“We have already begun discussions with Besiktas and Fiorentina”, he added, hinting that a switch for the 27-year-old could not be far off.

Milevskiy was tipped for big things when he broke through into the Dynamo Kyiv first team, but has struggled to live with the expectations.

So far this season he has played 16 times for the Ukrainian giants, but failed to find the back of the net once.

Milevskiy’s current contract with Dynamo Kyiv runs until next summer.
