Barcelona to play Arsenal again in Champions League
There are some exciting match ups in UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw that happened today.
The draw could have been better for PSG, but it could also have been worse with Barcelona and Bayern Munich among their possible opponents after they finished second in their group.
Barcelona director Albert Soler echoed the enthusiasm ahead of the two legs. I’m delighted for the fans that will get two great matches at the Parc des Princes and Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal have faced the defending champions seven times before and out of which they lost four times, and won once while two games had ended in draws.
And Thiago Silva feels that could provide PSG with the edge when the sides meet for the third season in a row in February and March. In the first one, the main focus is to qualify from the group – and it’s no easy feat, some big clubs don’t. It will be a very tough fixture list and I hope everyone will be fit and raring to go against Chelsea to fulfil our ambitions.
