Azarov satisfied with talks with Russia
KYIV, November 23. /UKRINFORM/. Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said he is satisfied with bilateral negotiations with Russia on the urgent issues of cooperation between the two states.
He announced this in Kyiv on Friday, a UKRINFORM correspondent said.
“Friendly talks were held with Russian officials. They were held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, and we stated that we are moving forward not at a desired pace, but we are still moving. It’s good, because there were periods when we were moving backwards. I think that there is hope for constructive cooperation if we work in the way we’re working now,” the prime minister said.
As reported, on November 21, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov made a working visit to Moscow, where he met with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. During the visit, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of energy, trade and economic cooperation.
