KYIV, January 22. /TASS/. Ukraine’s Antimonopoly Committee has decided to fine Russian company Gazprom for 85 billion hryvnia (about $ 3.4 billion), the committee’s Chairman Yuri Terentyev said on his facebook page.
Ukraine’s state antimonopoly agency has imposed a $3.5 billion fine on Russia’s Gazprom for allegedly abusing its monopoly control of Ukraine’s natural-gas transit system.
KYIV (Sputnik) — Ukraine’s Anti-Monopoly Committee fined Russian energy giant Gazprom 85 billion hryvnia, or around $3.4 billion for alleged abuse of its dominant position on the Ukrainian gas transit market, the committee’s head Yuriy Terentyev said Friday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – On January 16, the OSCE monitoring mission came under fire near Marinka in the Donetsk region. No one was injured in the incident.

KYIV (Sputnik) – The Netherlands is set to hold the advisory referendum in April 2016.
“The two sides have coordinated positions in the context of the future consultative referendum on an Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, which will be held in the Netherlands on April 6, 2016,” the press service said in a statement.
KYIV (Sputnik) – Earlier in the day, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko met with IMF head Christine Lagarde. The meeting was described as “productive” by Kyiv.
