Ukrainian lawmakers fret over Western aid
KYIV: The abrupt resignation of Ukraine’s economy minister, followed by several of his deputies, over allegations of corruption has jeopardised Kyiv’s relations with its Western backers, threatening vital loan aid, politicians said on Thursday.
KYIV (Sputnik) — G7 countries’ ambassadors stressed the importance of Ukraine fulfilling all International Monetary Fund (IMF) conditions in order for the country to receive its next IMF loan installment, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Ambassador Jan Tombinski said Thursday.
