Around the Web: Protest in Kyiv leaves two officers dead

Here are the top news stories for today.

Nine People are dead, during the Kyiv protest.

The Ukrainian police are storming the main anti-government protest in the capital. The camp has been there for months. Explosions, fireworks, and fires are storming Independence Square, more locally known as Maidan. Police are using water cannons to try and control the scene. Of the dead, two were police officers.

According to BBC, Vitaly Klitschko, the protest’s leader, urged women and children to leave the square because he there is a possibility of force being used.

Rocky Horror’s Brad dies at the age of 67, according to BBC.

Christopher Malcolm was an actor and a theatre producer. His death was confirmed by Morgan Lloyd, Malcolm’s daughter, on Twitter. She wrote “”Today the world lost a beautiful, brilliant man.”Malcolm died on Feb. 15.

He starred in roles that included the original Brad Majors on the Rocky Horror Show.  He also starred in films such as The Empire Strikes Back, Labyrinth, and Highlander.Days before his death, his latest project, Oh! What a Lovely War at Stratford East, opened to glowing reviews.

The triangular prism of chocolate, nougat, almonds and honey is the first bar to debut with a filling. It beat Hershey’s Almonds bar, which came out later the same year.

A teen is killed after a prank goes wrong, according to CNN.

Adrian Broadway, 15, was shot in head and died early Saturday morning. The Little Rock, Ark. girl was with a group of teens playing a retaliation prank on another teen. The group had thrown eggs, mayonnaise, and toilet paper, on a car parked outside.

As the group left, a man walked outside and opened fire. Police have identified the shooting suspect as 48-year-old Willie Noble. Noble was charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of a terror act and five counts of aggravated assault.
