Architectural Intervention: Cultural platform ‘Izolyatsia’ heads to east …
International, multi-disciplinary team embarks on fact-finding mission in conflict zone
Previously based in the city of Donetsk in east Ukraine, cultural platform Izolyatsia was forced to move to the Ukrainian capital Kyiv after its premises were seized by Russian-backed militants in June last year.
The group is now heading back out east but they won’t make it as far as Donetsk. This time they’re going to the government-controlled city of Mariupol on a fact-finding mission.

Their ultimate goal is to stage a “physical and digital intervention.”
