The Finnish ‘cello metal’ group have sold over four million albums since forming in 1993.
During their performance in Kyiv on December 1, the four-member group thrilled fans with an alternative version of Ukraine’s national anthem, among other songs as part of a tour to promote their new album ‘Shadowmaker’.
Prior to the show, the band’s drummer Mikko Siren and cellist Eicca Toppinen revealed to Ukraine Today about why they chose to return to Ukraine, future collaboration plans, why they chose to evolve to more instrumental music and about much damage their cello actually sustain during their energetic performances.
