Anti-War Rally in Lugansk Demands End to Kyiv’s War on Its Own People

The demonstrators demanded that the Kyiv government stop a military operation against its own people, Voice of Russia reported.

Speakers at the rally included head of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) Valery Bolotov, Chairman of the Parliament of the Union of Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics Oleg Tsaryov and other LPR officials and lawmakers.

The self-proclaimed republics of Lugansk and Donetsk have become a “bone in the throat of international terrorism and its Kyiv henchmen”, Bolotov told the crowds.

“Today we are on the defensive, but tomorrow we will be driving the occupants away,” he said.
