Anti-Government Protesters Capture Ukrainian House In Kyiv
As of 04:00 anti-government protesters captured the Ukrainian House in Kyiv.
After law-enforcers’ step-back the protesters entered the building and occupied all floors.
It is worth noticing that inside the building the protesters found several tables with food and alcoholic drinks, supposedly, the law-enforcers had been consuming before they left.
The protesters are sitting still and trying to turn on the light in the building.
Prior to that, at 03:50 on Sunday about 200 law-enforcers left the Ukrainian House building in Kyiv.
On January 25 night activists began blocking entrances after receiving reports that Berkut special force staff and Internal Affairs Ministry’s internal troops pulling in to the Ukrainian House.
Towards midnight activists set to demanding removal of law-enforcers from the building, and then tried to penetrate inside.
The demonstrators were using Molotov cocktails, the law-enforcers using teargas and thunder flashes.
Then the clashes ceased and Batkivschyna Member of Parliament Andrii Parubii entered into negotiations on pullout of law-enforcers from the building.
