Aaron Doesn’t Remember the Kyiv Attack

Aaron Alexander ben Avraham received special visitors today, Thursday, 27 Nissan 5772, Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi Yechiel Yona Metzger and Zaka founder Yehuda Meshi-Zahav.
Rav Metzger told reporters that he specifically chose today for his visit, Holocaust Remembrance Day, because on the day we remember those who were targeted for just being Jews, as was the case with Aaron, who was brutally beaten on motzei Shabbos seder night in Kyiv by haters of the Jewish people.
Doctors report that Aaron has already undergone three surgeries following his massive head injuries and he is showing significant signs of improvement, communicating with those around him, but warn he is not out of the woods and is still listed in serious condition.
