A special diary from Kyiv
Kyiv and Ukraine officially opened the runways shows for Spring-Summer Estate 2016 already at the beginning of September.
Thanks to the constant support to young talents on the part of Daria Shapovalova, the founder and creative director of the MBKFD, her team and, most of all, from the international media, the three-day event was entirely dedicated to runway shows, showcases and forums with leading fashion experts.
The event also included visits to discover Kyiv’s historical highlights and to the designers’ studios, to learn more about the inspirations and ideas behind the creation of their latest collections.
The Mercedes-Benz Kyiv Fashion Days, now in their eleventh edition and celebrating the fifth anniversary, are a further confirmation that Kyiv is becoming an increasingly important reference point on the fashion map.
