17:39 Zhytomyr airport set to reopen in 2016
Even though the airport in Zhytomyr, 100 kilometers west of Kyiv, still does not see aircraft landings, but the city has already obtained benefits: the city budget received nearly half a million UAH from the airport operator.

On December 30, 2015 Zhytomyr airport was certified as an airport similar to those in Kyiv’s Boryspil and Zhulyany. This is one of the last steps in the reopening of the airport. An airport representative said the first plane will land soon at the airport.
