13 percent of Kyiv city and region police fail evaluations to retain their jobs
More than 4,000 employees of national police took their recertification tests, of whom 13 percent are recommended to be dismissed in Kyiv city and region.
Spokeswoman of the center for recruitment to the national police of Ukraine Olena Dyatlova told a briefing on Friday, Ukrinform reports.
“Certification commissions have begun their work on December 7. At the moment 17 certifying commissions are operating: three commissions evaluate the employees of the central apparatus of the national police, eight commissions are working in Kyiv city, while six of them – on employees in the Kyiv region. Today the final decision on reviewed certification cases total 4,254. They include 512 from the central office, 2,192 – Kyiv police personnel, and 1,550 – the Kyiv region police force,” said Dyatlova, noting that a total of 13,500 police personnel ought to get certified.
